Nice list. I signed on for The Sample some months ago - just the free version - which, as predicted by the person who recommended it, resulted in about 7 new subscribers. Kind of wish Substack PTBs would make a habit of recommending pages at random, but I can see how that might get tricky for them, depending on the nature of the newsletter's content. Onward we go!

I agree, we really need more help for the newbies from Substack itself!! My posts in Notes are invisible so I'm lost there. (Meantime we hustle). I also got about that many from The Sample, the one that's been most effective for me so far.
