Just devastating for him. I guess my ads are a little misleading that she "might" come. My bartender just told me he would tell anyone disappointed that she had just left. I still love her and try to get my girls onboard...(ongoing project).
Yeah, those are really interesting! I'd say that 80% of the time, whenever two words sound similar, it's because they really are the same word (well, from the same word, but same thing). The exceptions are now surprises to me.
was definitely the best and worst of times and my biggest proudest accomplishment. I do wish I could time travel back sometimes, but not to stay very long ;)
Don't forget the kids today and their "borg"! Aka "blackout rage gallon." There really is something about this boozy g! https://ginraiders.com/article/what-is-a-borg-drink-titktok-gen-z/
omg I didn't know about BORG-blackout rage gallon-that's bananas! In my day we had gross "grain punch" there's another G.
STAIN! Wish I'd gotten to one of your Bjork events. (Loved the story about the sad club kid.) I love/d her!

She's the groovest! I was following her when she was only a Sugar Cube. I'd skip the other songs and listen to her.
I remember those Bjork parties all to well, often telling those who asked, “you just missed her” glogg!
This was so much fun.
Wish I knew you then. We are big Bjork fans!
Yay! Me too obviously. Sometimes I have the itch to bring this sort of bar to SH, but it's soo hard and I'm tired...
"88% of participants in a University of Sussex survey conducted in 2018 say they saved money while not drinking."
I really want to meet the 12% who didn't drink, but managed not to save any money. I love a good paradox!
Also love: etymology, but you know that already! Words are so much fun.
that is funny. Maybe the 12% are just so pretty they never had to pay. Or freegans who mooch.
I love that glogg derivation has nothing to do with grog (from fabric). Def fun!

Your bar seemed so cool. I wish I had had the chance to check it out. And I loved the turn of phrase “It was a giddy age sprinkled with grief.”
