I wish I had that old GE Show'n'Tell toy, it looks like so much fun! I remember listening to story albums a lot as a kid. Oddly though, I don't remember ever having Show and Tell days at school, nor did my kids - I wonder if its a regional thing? But that can't be right, maybe just dependent on the school/teacher/curriculum etc?
Funny, me neither! I guess I wish I had, but I also think I would have been totally terrified. Maybe that's why they are only regional or in the past -- I think it may be considered unfair to the kids who are less verbal/showy like that. My own daughter had selective mutism so this would have destroyed her.
