The Germans are so good for that. Your essay was definitively in the background as I was concocting this, so thank you! My compulsion to throw myself into these things often feels a little nuts but it is invigorating. A therapist needs to investigate with me why it’s so hard for me to relax, stop and be still.
But then (he said, a week late), it might stop it. Please doc, don't heal me too much! Or the old Woody Allen line from Annie Hall - "It reminds me of that old joke- you know, a guy walks into a psychiatrist's office and says, hey doc, my brother's crazy! He thinks he's a chicken. Then the doc says, why don't you turn him in? Then the guy says, I would but I need the eggs."
