Well, you know me and freaks - remember my novel we workshopped with Jessie and "The Thing?" I ended up with a bad agent trying to shop it about 5 years ago, and yeah, he basically killed it. At least it has life as a short story published in Glimmer Train. Like you, I feel like I'm "passing," and moved to nyc to be with the freaks and crazies like me, the ones who look normal and the ones who don't. I'd go watch the Halloween Parade and the Mermaid Parade to cheer on my more extroverted brothers and sisters and to feel part of a tribe.

The "Freakshow" season of AHS might have been their worst season. We've watched them all.

Same! Now that I think about it, something with aliens was pretty bad, maybe around season 4?
I must have blocked that out! I don't remember aliens
Apparently, they showed up in season 2 (Asylum). I actually didn't think that season was so bad, though (it got so much worse!).
