The title could go another way, in meaning lol, but I like what you did here. So few consequences for such terrible deeds.

For me the high note is I really do want to get to that town! Hot Springs to soak in and contemplate all this shit.

For what it's worth, you couldn't pay me enough money to live out the hells of OJ, Weinstein, or DJT, even before their public collapses. I wouldn't be Elon Musk for all the money he's got. It doesn't mean justice is served, but I do think men like this are in a constant manic and personal hell of their own making. As the saying goes, "wherever you go, there you are."

Came for the etymology, stayed for the history lesson. I'm not sure it would be fun to actually visit T&C, but it would definitely make a good story!

Thanks! Love it when I can play in words and history too. I watched a YouTube tour and I really am considering it. It's a little sad for sure, but maybe they need my $5, and there are a lot of hot springs to sit in.

I've decided that if greed, ignorance, criminal fraud and downright evil are put back in the WH my tax paying days are done. I will not support another administration full of all the worst people. If SCOTUS rules that our justice system cannot hold absolute criminality accountable, then my bucks stop here.

That seems like a good approach since money rules above all. But then how to avoid risk of tax evasion? Maybe us little people are off the radar anyway and IRS too buried to ever notice? I do often wonder what, if any, are the consequences on skipping out on that...

According to Project 2025 manifesto they plan on gutting all Federal agencies and installing sycophants, so I don't expect much would get accomplished, similar to the prior administration where not much got accomplished even with seasoned Federal employees in place. I'm older, no longer in the workforce so my tax hit wouldn't be much to come after, if they want to waste resources it would cost them more than they would recover but I'd have the satisfaction of making them work for it...and if a lot if US did it would make that work even harder! Let's hope it doesn't come to pass. Vote 💙
