I've belonged to a group at DailyKos called Good News Roundup, which focuses on good news and activism, and also inspiration. The woman who is our unofficial mayor and who started this in 2016 is a professor somewhere, and just wonderful. She writes her column on Saturdays, and this one was so helpful. Feel free to join us (but I'd avoid the main page at DailyKos because they're going through a catastrophizing phase - in fact I'm reducing my social media diet for awhile if I can manage).
Yes sadly in addition to the gender gap there’s also the education one. I made the mistake today elsewhere of calling that stupidity but it’s also just ambivalence. I will check out that group, thank you, we need all the good news and also the activism.
