My favorite time writing for Patch.com (in their AOL era no less) was before it became real work, when I was just contributor (“neighbor” in their parlance) and not full-time editor. When I first moved to these ’burbs and had one and then two little babies hanging on me and writing about that returned me, if slightly, to those lost recesses of my brain.
Here’s some of the Mom Spelled Backwards columns I’ve been able to ferret out of the dusty Patch interwebs circa 2010-2012—and please skim past the ellipses when they lost links in moving to a new platform (grrr AOL).
